The children of today will create our future tomorrow. What a better way to enhance our future than by teaching. It’s becoming harder and harder to find good teachers in today’s world. We need good teachers to educate and inspire our children to make our nation a success in the future. Without a good teacher in my life to inspire me, I probably wouldn’t be at college today. It was that one person that made me want to do great things in life. Every child should get that chance to be inspired. Every child should be able to make a difference in the world. Our schools and our children need the best teachers they can find.

For example, if we don’t have good teachers to educate our future leaders, how will we find qualified people to run our country and keep it out of trouble? How will we find qualified doctors, nurses, and surgeons? I sure wouldn’t want just any one performing open heart surgery on me. How will we continue to improve our technology as our world changes, if we don’t have the inspiration or support in our school systems to make students try to better our world? How will we provide sufficient security officers such as policemen and firefighters for our cities? No matter what profession a person wants to go into, they have to have a good teacher to teach them how to do their jobs.

The economy today is making our world harder to live in, so we need to make sure our children get every opportunity that they can possibly endure to better their lives. Our children ARE our future. With more and more people have financial problems and losing jobs, we need to ensure that the thousands of dollars parents spend on education for their children are worth it. Without a well educated background, it’s difficult to make a living in our world today. Without good teachers to give our children that education, we are setting them up for failure.

I feel very strongly that the most useful major any child can go into in today’s world is education. It could be elementary education, college education, or anything in between. They all need teachers. Drop-out rates are increasing because kids don’t care about school any more. It is up to our generation to change that and inspire children to stay in school and make a difference in our world. Teachers are a vital necessity for our future and I think we should be taking much more interest in our future than we are now.
