Getting New Clients Using Email Marketing

Sunday, June 5th, 2011

I know every business owner wants to have many clients as he can, but the question is how he can do that? That can be done using Email Marketing Campaign. To implement this strategy you will need to cross a bridge to reach your destination. What I mean is you need to avoid problems like being caught in an email blacklist, spam filters, should have high email delivery rates, etc. To get new clients with this tactic first thing you need to do is identify your target market. Then start searching on your local and find related websites that you think they are your potential customers. Always go to the company website. This way you can find out the name of the appropriate contact person, and you will have a background about the business they are running on.

Do not start your email like “To whom it may concern” rather use the contact person name and be sure that your subject will pass email blacklist filters to ensure email deliverability or else your efforts are useless. Then in your message, tell them your honest intention and offer them what you can do to help them by giving your contact information and include a link from your portfolio. Also, try to give some insights or positive feedback to their site. Remember that you are not sending a newsletter here; you are looking for information so an opt-out message is really not required. You will see that some of the people you have contacted will send an email to you asking for your service or product and that is expected, Congratulations on your new client!

2 Tips For Making Your Email Marketing Campaigns Profitable

Sunday, June 5th, 2011

With a large mailing list, you can make a lot of money. You’ve always heard the experts say that “the money is in the list” – and this is absolutely true. But just because you have a list, it doesn’t mean that you will automatically make money. You have to have a responsive list, and this is what this article will teach you how to create.

If you’re currently doing email marketing and aren’t satisfied with the results that you are getting, then it’s probably because you aren’t doing all of the things necessary to make your list profitable. If you think your creativity will allow you to get super-responsive conversion rates, then think again.

Even though the average conversion rate for an opt-in list is around 1-2%, it doesn’t automatically mean that you will make money from your list. There are little-known factors that you have to consider when mailing to your list that you have to keep in mind. Here is the first factor that you have to keep in mind when emailing to your opt-in list.

1) Building trust

You have to building trust with your subscriber base. One great way to do that is to introduce yourself to all new subscribers that join your list. In your very first email, introduce yourself and tell them your story. If you’re story is compelling enough, it will more than likely resonate with your subscribers as they will know what you’re talking about.

Simply starting off your email series with tips is an effective way to build a relationship with your prospects. Building a list this way works, but it won’t work to give you the incredible conversion rates that you desire. What you want to do is get your subscribers to view you as an expert – someone they can rely on to give great advice about things.

When you build trust with your subscribers, you let them know that you are their for them. In each of your subsequent emails to your subscribers, you will want to give them a bit of yourself in each email. Let them in on your daily life and share stories with them. This the fastest way to build a fan base of loyal subscribers.

2) Have a good offer

Your offer can make or break your email campaign. And to do this, you want your sales page to be as descriptive as possible. Offer a ton of bonuses to your subscribers and make it available at a good price. Your sales letter page should again tell your story and let them know about the pains and struggles that you went through related to your niche.

To have an effective sales page, you will want to research your target market well. You will want to list the problems your prospects are facing and the goals that they want to achieve so that you can build a strong bond with your audience. Having a strong offer is critical to your email marketing campaign, so you will want to keep these tips in mind.

These 2 tips for maximizing your email response rates work if you do them. You will have to go back and modify your campaign in order for them to work for you – but it will be well worth it. Good luck with your email marketing efforts.

Top 3 Uses For APIs in Email Marketing

Sunday, June 5th, 2011

Once limited to the desktop environment, APIs have exploded on the web in modern computing times. Developers and brands are increasingly leveraging these flexible software interfaces to connect with social networks, e-commerce platforms, and lately, even mobile applications. APIs are also gaining traction in the email marketing sector and more businesses are curious about how they can be put to good use. If you are one of them, check out the top three ways they are currently being used.

List Management

One of the most common uses for APIs is list management. As an email marketer, you probably already know how difficult it can be to manage a mailing list, especially if it is loaded with customers and prospects. While the functionality may vary slightly depending on the service provider, most email marketing APIs let you upload lists and perform functions such as add and remove subscribers, update subscriber profiles, and even segment your list for better targeting. The main draw here is being able to mange your list more efficiently and do it all in real-time.

Send Targeted and Triggered Email Campaigns

Another common way to use an API for email marketing purposes is to integrate it with your existing systems. This includes databases, CRMs and even your website. With this ability, you can synchronize your mailing list and even use the system to create and deploy your campaigns. When connected to your website, an API will enable you to send targeted messages based on activities that occur after the click. When plugged into your CRM, you can use it to deliver triggered messages based on purchasing history and other tracking information. An email campaign can be deployed with various software programs, but not all of them can match up to the efficiency you get with a quality API.

View and Analyze Campaign Data

Email marketers are increasingly employing APIs to gather better insight on campaign performance. In most cases, these systems have native functionality that allows you to view and analyze basic metrics such as clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes. You can get your hands on more detailed information when integrating your CRM, CMS, shopping cart or other systems you rely on to collect data. When combined, this wealth of data can help increase the agility of your business by allowing you to make adjustments on the fly and respond in a timely fashion.

Summary

There are numerous benefits to utilizing an API, but the ones that stand out the most are efficiency and convenience. The flexibility that comes from integrating these cooperative technologies allows you to easily transfer data from your in-house platforms to handle whatever processes need to be tended to on the providers server, then export it all back to your internal systems. While we only touched on three uses in this article, the industry is showing us that the possibilities are endless when it comes to integrating email marketing with a robust, capable API.

Importance of Email Marketing – Start Using it Today

Sunday, June 5th, 2011

So, you have a website or a few and you are trying to make some money online. Maybe you are actually making a little income online or considering building some sort of business online. No doubt you have heard about email marketing or you would not be reading this article. How important is email marketing in today’s online businesses?

To answer this question let us take a look at some conversion number with typical the typical affiliate marketing business.

If you have done your home work you know that most affiliate products like those sold through a site like ClickBank have a sales conversion rate of maybe 1-5 percent.

This is 1-5 percent of the folks that actually click through from your website to your merchant partner. Not 1-5 percent of your site visitors.

Let us assume you have some really nice landing pages and you do a pretty good job of getting clicks through to your merchant partners and you are getting 40% clicking through. You have been working hard on your traffic generation and you have 500 site visitors coming to your landing page every day. That’s a nice number no doubt about it.

This means that IF you have 40% clicking to the merchant site and let’s say 3% are making a purchase. You are actually generating about 6 sales a day. We all know that 6 sales a day can be a very nice income depending on the products you are promoting. Chances are you would be very happy with the income being generated.

Let me ask you one simple question.

What about the 9000 site visitors a month that you are losing every month?

In the number example above you have 9k visitors coming to your site every month that you had one shot to sell something to and you lost them.

So, how important is email marketing?

What if you had a simple opt-in form where you gave away a free report and newsletter for those folks that were willing to give up their emails to you?

You do know that the average person has to be exposed to an offer multiple times before they are actually willing to buy, right?

Let us say you were willing to fore-go those nice 6 sales you were making every day and instead started only opting in people to a list and newsletter.

Not only would you be able to have multiple sales opportunities with the 9000 visitors you lose at your site. You would also have multiple sales opportunities with the other 5820 that went to your merchants page and didn’t buy there either.

Not getting those folks back as well.

That’s a total of 14820 site visitors you are losing every month because you are not building an email relationship with them.

Is email marketing important? You bet it is…

Not only can you give yourself a chance to sell over a period of time to these folks, you can have a chance to make multiple sales you the same individual. A website without a subscribe option has no chance to do that at all.

I have a free report that shows how One Simple Website alone can help even new people to online business make a full time living using email marketing.

You can get this free report as well as a full year of a free newsletter and video series that shows exactly how important and easy email marketing can be online at:

Is Email Marketing Annoying?

Sunday, June 5th, 2011

Here’s the thing about email marketing.

Most every marketer out there, new ones for sure, are not patient enough to understand and apply relationship building with their subscribers in order to create value and make long term sales in whatever niche they are working.

Without fail a marketer will jump the gun and try to sell way to early in a responder series.

They may even make a few sales but there is no doubt that their unsubscribe rate will be much higher than sales conversions.

They fail to understand that “list building” is actually about building long term trust and value as well as actually growing a list not getting whatever sales you can get now.

For these type of marketers the answer to “Is email marketing annoying?” is a definite YES!

Included in that group are even the long term veteran guys that have these big product launches and will bombard you with email after email daily about the “revolutionary system for making money online”

The honest truth is at this point there really is not much that meets the standard of “revolutionary”.

I talk with so many new marketers that want to know how many opt-in sites or subscribers do they need to have before they can start making real income with email marketing.

Obviously the answer to these questions really depend on the niche you are working.

One thing I do tell these folks is that it only takes one simple website with a opt-in that is supported by providing something of value to a subscriber as well as a nice newsletter series to make a decent full time income.

Do I personally think email marketing is annoying?

No, I actually think that it is a great way to help people find the information and things they want online in a very intimate way and if done properly it can be the most effective way to make money online.

If you are new to making money online, check out my free report about how One Simple Website can help anyone make a full time living online.

It provides great information about the right way to build a business with simple email marketing websites.
